Aims and topics
This summer school provides a practical introduction to Growth Modeling and Dynamic Structural Equation Modeling (Dynamic SEM) using MPLUS. These advanced techniques are essential for analyzing longitudinal data and capturing complex psychological processes over time. Through a mix of theoretical lectures and hands-on sessions with specialized software, participants will gain valuable tools for addressing key challenges in psychological research, such as modeling individual change and understanding dynamic relationships.
This is an in-person course in the heart of the Dolomites. Regarding teaching methods, it will combine frontal lessons with practical exercises with real data.
The course will be open to national and international PhD students and Faculty members in need to improve their analytic skills in Growth Modeling and Dynamic Structural Equation Modeling. It will be organized in four days including eight working sessions. Basic knowledge of multiple regression is required.
