Post-doctoral Position (2 years) available at the Cognitive Neuroscience Section, The Saint John of God Clinical Research Centre (Brescia, Italy) (www.cognitiveneuroscience.it), to work on EEG correlates of multiple object perception. As part of a collaborative project, founded by a grant from the Italian Ministry of Health, between The Saint John of God Clinical Research Centre (Brescia, Italy) and the Center for Mind/Brain Sciences at the University of Trento (Trento, Italy), the project will aim at characterizing the behavioral and neural activity involved in multiple object perception in healthy aging and in different forms of cognitive decline (Alzheimer Disease and Mild Cognitive Impairment). The position will involve the recruitment and cognitive evaluation of normal and pathological elderly subjects, as well as the running of EEG experiments.
Applicants must have a doctoral degree. Priority will be given to applicants having a strong background in neuropsychological assessment. Desirable qualifications include also previous research experience in psychophysiology and cognitive neuroscience. Ideal start date would be September 2013.
