The *European Workshop on Imagery and Cognition (EWIC)* is a biennial meeting dedicated to the study of mental imagery in its various forms (e.g., visual, auditory, and motor imagery) and spatial cognition, using behavioural methods and neuroscience techniques. Other topics of interest to the EWIC include: perception, attention, working memory, and language comprehension. EWIC has provided invaluable opportunities for many scientists to exchange their views and findings in the domain of mental imagery and cognition since its beginning in Orsay (France) in 1986. Past conferences were held in Orsay, Padua, Aberdeen, La Laguna, Saarbrücken, Oslo, Windsor, Saint-Malo, Pavia, St. Andrews, Utrecht, Helsinki, Bochum, Paphos, Paris.
